Open Dev Kit supports sprite sheets and frame by frame animation, animated 3D models using bones, and Effekseer particle effects. These can also be edited or animated using the built in sprite sequencer.

Projects are stored in the cloud so they can be shared easily and synced across devices. If your project uses especially large files that do not need cloud syncing, you can stream or load them at runtime from your device

Not necessarily. Because storage and much of the processing are handled in the cloud, the demands on your local device are reduced. As mobile support is introduced, even phones and tablets are expected to be supported.

stable internet connection is recommended, but low latency is not a major factor. Project resources are streamed as needed and cached for reuse.
